Clean Cup - Halloween 2013

It boiled down to three things: The Mad Hatter, the Mask, or a Candycorn Fairy-Princess-Witch. Obviously you can see which one I went with.

This started off as a cruddy sketch I did in my notebook earlier today. In a feat of fury I spent what I had left of my day after classes to line and color it in SAI. Even then it's still not done; I don't have any shadows in yet. But my hope was to make this at least a decent replacement if I can't find the time to finish it. I also want to go back and tweak some proportional errors, but I probably can't afford to be too picky right now.

I kind of wish Rigmarole's pose was less static, but I was just focused on getting the costume all worked out (I don't know about you, but I think it's pretty great). Also, I took the opportunity to update his general color pallet, because I felt I needed it to be clear that his hair is most assuredly a natural shade of purple.

Before I forget: I think Rigmarole is about 178-182 cm in height without heels. Not sure that converted right. He's somewhere under 6 feet but taller than 5'9".

...Okay, sleepytime for me now. I really need to learn to post these things at not one in the morning.
